We collect information you provide directly: name, email, phone number, church, and profile details. We also collect usage data, device information, and wallet transaction records needed to provide our services.
We use your information to: operate and improve the platform, facilitate YF Connect matching with your consent, process wallet transactions, send event and announcement notifications, and moderate forum content for community safety.
YF Connect profile data (photos, bio, preferences) is visible only to approved members within the courtship module. You may delete your YF profile at any time from the app settings.
Transaction records are retained for 7 years as required by Nigerian financial regulations. We do not store full card details — payments are processed securely via Paystack.
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with verified church counselors (if you invite them), our payment processor (Paystack), and regulatory bodies when legally required.
We use bcrypt password hashing, HTTPS encryption, and role-based access controls. Our servers are hosted in Nigeria-compliant data centers.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting support@baptistconnect.me. We will respond within 30 days.
